Description
When Disaster Strikes, who can you count on? This activity is a great simulation experience for you and your colleagues wanting to try something out of the ordinary.
Your group thinks they are just going on a leisurely bush or beach walk near your conference venue. After they settle in for the walk and are enjoying the scenery a text message comes through giving the GPS coordinates of an injured hiker. The team must find and administer first aid to the hiker in a remote region. Things start to spiral out of control as bees , snakes, sting rays, diabetes, and horrendous “accidents” start to take their toll on the group.
You will be beyond mobile range (figuratively) and darkness is closing in.
Placed in a stressful and unfamiliar situation, can your team cope? Who will lead the rescue effort? Who will use the resources at their disposal efficiently, but most importantly, what will they learn.
The program isn’t designed to teach people how to be experts at wilderness first aid, but at the end of the session, our highly trained guides will demonstrate how to treat people injured in the wilderness effectively. They will then relate their training to your business objectives.
The program is highly memorable (see the pictures) and a great way of delivering your company’s key messages at a conference. The program can also be delivered in your place of business or conference location. Night missions are also available.
